Haiku Noir on Madness

          back home after work—
          on my fresh-painted front door
          a bloody hand print

                                                                  their promises are lies—
there’s no one in the mirror
                                                                  again today

                      peering from the street
the mailman must know too much
                      he’ll have to go too
